Hockey Manawatu want to invite you along to our 'Basic Guide To Coaching', 1-hour crash course!
Date: Monday 8th April 2024
Time: 6pm - 7pm
Whether you are new to coaching and have no idea what to do, or whether you know some basic coaching skills already, come on down!
During the session we will hold a quick 'class room session' where we will go over the basic rules to Junior and Intermediate Hockey, and will give you some useful tips on how to be a confident and successful coach.
We will then move onto the turf for some practicul learning of some basic drills and skills!
There will be plenty of time to ask our awesome coach developers some questions throughout the hour too.
Hockey Manawatu have also created a 'Basic Guide To Coaching' Booklet with a bunch or useful drills and it also outlines the rules to Junior and Intermediate Hockey without all the confusing parts. (check it out, under the poster).
