The 2019 Intermediate Hockey season is fast approaching and always we require umpires to ensure our games can operate fairly and within the rules of hockey.

Registrations for anyone interested in being involved as an umpire for the 2019 seaosn are now open.

We welcome all new and experienced umpires to join this dedicated group of young aspiring umpires.

Hockey Manawatu will be facilitating preseason training opportunities for umpires targed at Interemdiate level so don't be put off if you have no expeience and want to give umpiring a go.

Everyone who becomes part of the Interemdiate umpiring team will be kitted out with their own umpiring shirt, a whistle and a set of umpiring warning cards. We also provide guidance and support for our junior umpires and have someone overseeing their games every week.
